Product Overview

G 20mm/F1.7 MkII Asperical lens in Black - ((Micro Four Thirds lens). Pancake lens. MkII = Metal exterior finish)

High Speed F1.7 Compact Single Focal Length Lens

  • Allowing a beautiful soft focus for photos to be even more impressive
  • 2 aspherical lenses for a superb optical performance
  • Contrast AF system support.
  • Circular aperture diaphragm.
  • Multi-coated lens elements minimise ghosts and flaring.

Perfect for every day shooting

Featuring the brightness of an F1.7 aperture, this single focal- length lens captures beautiful, expressive images with a delicate soft focus and high contrast. Two aspherical lenses are perfectly configured to deliver enhanced performance in a compact system and when this thin, pancake lens is mounted on the camera, the Lumix G Micro System is easy to carry anywhere. Your inner photographer is always ready for the inspiration to be found in everyday life, passing landscapes, indoors in dim lighting, casual snapshots, or in creative shots using soft focusing.

Aspherical lenses

These lenses prevent spherical and distortion aberrations, so higher magnification can be achieved with fewer lenses. Resulting in smaller size and weight, these lenses feature the high dimensional accuracy of Panasonic’s cutting-edge production technologies, including concave lenses that measure just 0.3mm at their thinnest part.

Lenses manufactured with uncompromising devotion to high image quality

The production process for Lumix G and LEICA DG lenses is conducted in ‘clean rooms’ to rigorous environmental standards. Now acclaimed worldwide, our UA3P Ultra-Accurate 3D Profilometer, with its measurement accuracy of 1/10,000mm, gives objective numerical evaluations and detects flaring, colour coatings and the ‘feel’ of the focus ring.
